How we handle your details

What we collect

The chart intake form on this site collects: your full name, email address, gender, date and time of birth, and place of birth. You may also indicate that you don't know your exact birth time. The contact form additionally collects the message you choose to send. For security and abuse prevention we also record the IP address and browser user agent at the moment of submission.

Why we collect it

Your details are used for two related purposes: (1) to calculate your BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny) chart and email it to you, and (2) to send up to two short follow-up emails over the seven days that follow, to give you context on the chart and let you know about the full personalized reading offered through our shop on Gumroad. We do not use your data for any other purpose, and we do not use it to train AI models.

How follow-up emails work

After we email your chart, we may send up to two further emails: one approximately three days after delivery, and one approximately seven days after delivery. Both contain a clear unsubscribe link in the footer. Clicking it stops all further emails immediately. If you purchase a full reading from our Gumroad shop in the meantime, the follow-up sequence is automatically suppressed.

Lawful basis

We process the data you submit on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the agreement box on the intake form, and on our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service we provide directly to you. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send you, or by contacting us through the contact form.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS to a private automation workflow operated for Jenny Destiny Atelier and stored in a private database under our control on infrastructure we operate. The data is not sold, shared with advertisers, or enriched against third-party data brokers.

How long we keep it

We retain your intake details for as long as needed to deliver your chart, complete the seven-day follow-up sequence, and handle any later support requests. After the sequence ends we keep a minimal record (your email, name, status, and timestamps) for up to twenty-four months so that we can honor unsubscribe and deletion requests and recognize repeat contacts. You can ask us to delete your data at any time and we will do so unless we are legally required to retain it. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle the conversation, then discarded.

Third-party services

This website is hosted on Vercel. The chart and follow-up emails are sent via Google's Gmail service from a Jenny Destiny Atelier mailbox. Optional purchases of deeper readings are processed by Gumroad, under their own privacy terms.

Cookies & tracking

This site does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics that profile visitors. The only cookies that may be set are technical cookies required for the page to function.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK, you additionally have the rights granted by the GDPR / UK GDPR, including the right to object to processing, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
